Margate Electronics #4

Margate Electronics #4
Live: Ambross, Smelliott
DJ: Tythe

Venue: Faith in Strangers, Margate

Ambross returns to the furrows of one of the Broken Arrows. Slow and Loud. Expect more exploration of the groove pocket between Electronic Body and New Beat Music ploughed for Giallo Disco and Vivod labels.

smelliott is a self taught electronic artist who makes intense glitchy noise. They are also a drummer, and they use rhythm as the basis of their compositions.

TYTHE is the moniker of Margate-based producer and DJ Jules Peck. A decade on from his debut LP, And Also With You, he released the singles “Seek/Rope” and “One ft. Isabelle Mettle”. His sound, shaped by his eclectic Margate Radio show, is dazed, uplifting, warm and dusty, somewhere between Gilles Peterson, DJ Koze and Bonobo.
