Missing Music is an audio-visual performance on vintage Mac computers, using rare or obsolete 90s software. It spotlights the innovative digital signal processing tools developed for the Macintosh in the ‘90s and ‘00s.
Thomas Ridley is a Bristol-based artist and producer working in analogue electronic composition and live performance. He takes a collage-like approach to recording and resampling a small collection of analogue instruments, in search of compositions that are imaginative and unwieldy, but with enough muscle to move a dancefloor. His live shows are fully improvised on a modular synthesiser, responding to the audience and space.
YKLU & Danny are Margate-based artists who combine spoken word, singing, percussion and modular synthesis to deconstruct and improvise around local and historic folk music, poetry and electronic uncertainty.
Will Materialise creates introspective, angsty experimental pop epics. Their production builds tension through jittery sound design, blaring bass and icy synthesis, matched by lyrical themes of technological isolation and parasocial relationships.
